Learners will develop a range of skills including:

• Leadership Principles - Insights into effective leadership styles and strategies for motivating teams.
• Management Fundamentals -  An understanding of the core functions of management, including planning, organising, and delegating.
• Communication Skills - The ability to communicate effectively with teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Problem-Solving - Techniques for effective decision-making and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Team Development - Strategies for building and maintaining high-performance teams.
• Operational Excellence - Best practices for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Change Management - An understanding of the dynamics of change within organisations and how to manage it successfully.
• Personal Development - Focused coaching on personal leadership style and development areas.

The programme will last 12 weeks and is delivered through a combination of online learning and fortnightly 1:1 coaching and mentoring sessions.

Learners will be given access to CMI's dedicated learning portal which will provide them with all the resources to complete the Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management (RQF).

Alongside this, our expert tutors will hold fortnightly 1:1 sessions online where they will support learners to develop a range of skills needed to complete the qualification and gain confidence as a First Time Manager.

To be eligible for this course learners need to be:

• 19+
• Live or work in the West Midlands Combined Authority Area
• Be able to commit to the programme for 12 weeks.

The cost for this course would normally be £3850 per learner. However! Up to 90% of this course is funded by West Midlands Combined Authority as part of the Skills Bootcamp initiative.

Employers with less than 250 employees will need to make a 10% contribution to the cost of the course (£385 per learner) with employers who have over 250 employees making a 30% contribution (£1155 per learner).
