The starting point for all of our QualifiedTrainer™ packages, the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) is a lifelong qualification that gives you the knowledge and skills to deliver training in further education or the workplace. It consists of the following 3 units:
Unit 1: Understanding the Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
Unit 2: Understanding and using inclusive learning and teaching approaches in education and training.
Unit 3: Understanding the principles and practices of assessment.
Delivered through our online portal, this course is assessed through both written assignments and the submission of a 15 minute microteach.
Qualification: Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
Duration: 12 hours
Study Method: Online (Self-paced) and 1 day face to face workshop
Assessment: Written and practical assessment at our 1 day practical workshop

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course, offered through TQUK, is a comprehensive training program specifically designed for individuals who are responsible for children's care and safety.
Duration and Structure:

Online Theory: 6 hours of in-depth online learning, accessible remotely and designed to be flexible to fit around the learner's schedule. This segment covers the theoretical foundations of paediatric first aid.

Practical Training: A full day of practical training conducted at our training centre in Tamworth, Staffordshire. This session focuses on applying the learned concepts in real-life scenarios, emphasizing hands-on practice.

Key Topics Covered:
  • Basic life support for infants and children, including CPR and AED usage
  • Management of injuries such as cuts, bruises, fractures, and burns
  • Handling common medical conditions in children, like allergic reactions, asthma, and seizures
  • Effective response to choking incidents
  • Understanding and applying first aid protocols specific to infants and children.

Certification:
Participants will receive the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (RQF) certificate upon successful completion of the course, valid for 3 years.

Additional Information:
  • No prior first aid knowledge is required.
