QualifiedTrainer™?
The starting point for all QualifiedTrainer™ packages is the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF).
Alongside this, you'll cover the fundamentals of First Aid for adults to give you a sound understanding before you start delivery sessions to others.
Qualification: Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
Duration: 18 hours
Study Method: Online (Self-paced) and 1 day face to face workshop

This comprehensive first aid training course is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide effective first aid in a variety of situations.
Duration and Structure:
Online Learning: 12 hours of interactive online modules that can be completed at the learner's own pace. This segment covers theoretical aspects of first aid, including understanding of key principles and preparatory knowledge.
Practical Session: A 7-hour in-person training at our Tamworth centre, focusing on practical skills. This hands-on experience allows learners to apply their knowledge in simulated emergency scenarios.
Key Topics Covered:
- Principles and priorities of first aid
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use
- Management of injuries and medical conditions like bleeding, burns, fractures, and shock
- Handling emergency situations and ensuring safety
- Legal aspects of first aid and record keeping
Certification:
Upon successful completion, participants receive the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF), valid for 3 years.
Additional Information:
- No prior first aid knowledge is required.
- The course is regularly updated to reflect the latest guidelines and practices in first aid.
- You may be exempt from this element of the package if you already hold this qualification have professional registration as a Nurse, Doctor, Paramedic etc. Speak to our team for more details.

I'm a registered healthcare professional, do I need to complete the First Aid Qualifications?
There are certain exemptions in place for registered healthcare professionals such as Nurses, Doctors and Paramedics. If you have registration in one of these areas or something similar please speak to our team to build a custom package to suit you.
